On Friday afternoon, a Bazooka rocket from World War II was discovered on the Rhine bank in the Koblenz district of Wallersheim. After an initial assessment, its authenticity was confirmed by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service of Rhineland-Palatinate.

According to the city, the find poses no danger to the public. The discovered Bazooka rocket is currently being guarded by staff of the Municipal Enforcement Service of the Koblenz Municipal Authority.
