Four New Apprentices Begin at the City Administration of Alzey

At the City Administration of Alzey, four new apprentices began their training on August 1. For the first time, Daniel Beiser, the new apprenticeship supervisor, accompanies the young talents through their training period.

Four New Apprentices Start

The new training cohort includes Sabrina Bergmann, Katrin Heinrich, Linus Herbert, and Stella Heuser. Three of them begin the three-year training to become administrative specialists in public administration. One apprentice starts in a different field of work.

Stella Heuser is undergoing training as a businesswoman for tourism and leisure with a focus on the tourist information office. Sabrina Bergmann begins in Department 3, Service Center/Info Point. Katrin Heinrich is initially assigned to Department 1 in the field of tourism, culture, and economic development. Linus Herbert starts in the Central Tendering Office in Department 1.

Insight into Various Areas of Administration

During their training period, all four apprentices will go through various departments of the administration. In addition, they will attend the Vocational School and the Communal Institute for Studies in Mainz. According to the city administration, they will not only learn about the work in the city administration but also gain a fundamental understanding of the field of public administration.

Opening with a City Hall Tour and City Tour

To mark the start of the new training year, the new team members received an introduction tour through the city hall and a city tour. Additionally, the first meeting with apprentices from the second and third training years is on the agenda.

Mayor Greets New Cohort

Mayor Steffen Jung welcomed the new colleagues and wished them much success on their further journey.
